Product of legendary “Dinamo” (Kiev) soccer school. Did not make to the professional team of “Dinamo” (Kiev) due to lack of height.
First coach: Valeriy Palumarchuk.
After graduation from institute Oleksandr tried to make it to senior teams of “Obolon” and “Arsenal” (Kiev) but ended-up signing a contract with “Borisfen” – Ukrainian First League team. “Borisfen’s” head coach Oleksandr Riabokon has shown his trust in a young goalkeeper and Oleksandr Musienko played 12 games. After the season he was invited to “Stal” (Dneproderzhinsk) where he played 20 games during the season but team got relegated from Ukrainian First League and Oleksandr decided to leave the team.
After that he briefly played for “Prikarpat’ye”. “Lviv” and “Chernomorets”.
In 2011 becomes a goalkeeper of “Bukovina”. Team’s head coach – Vadym Zayats made Oleksandr team’s No.1 goalkeeper and he played the total of 34 games a season in Ukrainian First League.
Oleksandr’s confident performance was noticed by Premier League team “Metallurg” (Donetsk) and he was offered a contract. Unfortunately he were not able to debut in Premier Division with his new team.
Early 2014 Oleksandr joins “Obolon” (Kiev) and in 2015 moves to “Valetta” (Malta). Due to bureaucracy troubles he did not play for Maltian vice-champions and left the team joining “Bukovina”.
In 2016 Oleksandr joins “Poltava” and in 2017 signs a contract with FC Vorkuta – Canadian Soccer League expansion team. His confident performances made him a team’s No.1 goalkeeper and he becomes Canadian Soccer League league champion.
